Sevket’s is a highly experienced personal trainer with a truly unique background. He currently competes on the international stage in professional muaythai and K1. Sevket boasts a record of 26 professional fights. He is the raining ISKA English Champion and he is ranked 6 th in the UK for the middle weight division. Sevket is not only one of the best thaiboxers in the UK but he has also spent time as a soldier in his native Turkey. His personal experience in the military and as a high-performance athlete gives Sevket a unique perspective to personal training and sports conditioning. JONATHAN LETTS

Jonathan is a highly experienced personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. Having worked in the sport and fitness industry for many years Jonathan is experienced in coaching clients with a variety of different needs and goals. His clients include individuals exercising for weight loss and general health benefits and he is a highly sought after conditioning and rehabilitation specialist amongst high performance athletes. Jonathan holds a sports science degree and a postgraduate degree in strength and conditioning and he currently works with a number of sponsored world class junior tennis players.

As a decorated endurance athlete with a background in crit cycling and triathlon since his teenage years Jonathan brings a unique portfolio to Baraka Training. His first-hand experience as an athlete and his experience as a strength coach combined with his knowledge of anatomy and training science make Jonathan a truly professional personal trainer.

Jonathan is a specialist in designing personalised training programs and integrates both resistance-based and cardiovascular exercises in a periodised manner to maximise your results. He has a strong believe that a holistic approach with good nutrition and mobility is the best way to achieve a fantastic physique and a healthy, strong body for everyday life and sporting excellence.

Jonathan’s training sessions are always evidence-based, allowing the best possible training methods for his clients, whatever their goals may be.

PAUL MONTGOMERY

Paul has enjoyed and been keenly involved in sport and fitness from a young age. As a child Paul played tennis, football and rugby. Paul developed in to a talented scrum half and played competitive rugby throughout his teens until a major injury forced him out of the sport. After months of rehabilitation Paul transitioned into the sport of powerlifting and he currently competes in the sport at national level. Paul’s background in competitive sport and his love of training led him to study sports science at University.

He also holds a BSc (Hons) in physiology and sports Bio-medicine and he is currently studying for his MSc in strength and conditioning. Paul’s passion for sport and exercise science and training theory are second to none. His understanding of sport and fitness training combined with his outgoing personality and his professionalism make Paul a real asset to Baraka Training. Paul’s industry experience is broad he has worked at some of the leading sporting institutions in the UK including Durham University and Bromley Tennis centre. Paul has worked with clients competing in international sport including rowing, lacrosse, rugby and tennis as well as with countless recreational exercisers.

Paul’s academic achievements, his industry experience and his background in performance sport set set him apart from the average trainer. Paul’s subject knowledge is extraordinary and he never fails to deliver fun and effective training sessions to his clients. Paul’s training sessions are highly personalised and goal orientated. His application of various training modialities is based on scientific evidence and current best practice. Ben Lonergan

Ben has a varied background, he holds a degree in sports rehabilitation and he is currently completing a MSc in strength and conditioning science at St Mary’s University. Ben played professional rugby for a number of years and he now works as a performance coach in both rugby and professional boxing. Having first-hand experience in elite sport as an athlete and as a strength and conditioning coach, Ben brings a unique skill set to Baraka Training. Ben provides his clients with a training experience previously only available to elite athletes. Ben enjoys applying his knowledge of training theory and his experience of working in elite sport to assist his clients achieve their goals. Whether you intend to shift some extra pounds or you are an athlete training for competition Ben will assist you in reaching your goals in the most efficient manner possible.

DANIELE D’ALESSIO

Dan is a qualified personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. He holds a BSc in sport and exercise science and a MSc in strength and conditioning. Dan’s passion for athletic development  and fitness training derives from his sporting background in football and tennis. Dan’s experience in the sport and fitness industry is vast. He boasts an impressive resume including some of the UK’s top athlete development centers such as the wimX tennis academy and the human performance unit. Dan has always enjoyed the opportunity to apply his experience as a conditioning coach within performance sport to help recreational exercisers achieve their goals. His experience in elite sport enables Dan to get the best out of all his clients.  Whether the goal is improved athletic performance or the beach body look, Dan is the man. Liam is a highly experienced UKSCA and NSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning coach with a wide spectrum of experience in both team and individual sports. Liam holds a MSc in strength and conditioning science and a BSc in sport and exercise science. Liam works as a full-time strength and conditioning coach to professional athletes competing on the world stage. He prides himself on his ability to apply scientific principals in his practice and his innovative and holistic approach to strength and conditioning and sport training is truly outstanding.

Having worked alongside some of the most successful fitness coaches in both the UK and the US Liam brings a unique skills set to Baraka Training. Liam’s understanding of long-term athlete development and physical conditioning is second to none. He has a proven track record of success with highly decorated youth and senior athletes. Charlie Evans Critchley

Charlie is a specialist strength and conditioning coach with vast experience in both team and individual sports. After graduating from Loughborough University with a top BSc in Sports Science he went on to work at Northampton Town and Stevenage FC first teams in League 1 and 2.  Charlie is a well rounded and highly professional strength and conditioning coach and a certified rehabilitation specialist. Alongside his work in elite sport Charlie has always enjoyed applying his skills in the health and fitness industry. Charlie has a proven track record of success with countless performance athletes and personal training clients. Whether you are a complete beginner wanting to loose weight or a competitive athlete, Charlie is a well versed trainer in both the gym or the home environment. Charlie’s sessions are specific to the client, evidence-based and fun, with emphasis being placed on full body functional exercises to maximise progress. Karen Martinez

Karen’s background is in performance sport. She is a semi-professional football player and she has been involved in sport from a jung age. Having experienced the benefits of structured physical training for football performance and general fitness Karen decided to start coaching part-time at her football club. Her football coaching programs soon became ‘the talk of the town’ and before long Karen was training more fitness clients then athletes. Karen takes a very goal orientated approach to her training prescription whilst keeping the sessions fun and upbeat. Her fun approach to training prescription allows  Karen to provide an encouraging and motivational environment for both personal training clients and athletes. Karen’s client base is varied and includes people from all different backgrounds and fitness levels. Having worked in the sport and fitness industry for a number of years Karen understands the obstacles that can limit people from achieving their fitness goals. Kaye has over 20 years experience in the sport and fitness industry. With a background as an athlete in both semi-professional football and in national level athletics Kaye has first-hand experience of the scientific training process underpinning high-performance sport. Kaye’s passion for sport and fitness training led him to study on numerous courses and he holds degree level accreditation in coaching, nutrition and sport massage. These days Kaye’s passion lies in body transformation and his client base includes well known celebrities and business people. Having worked in the industry for over two decades Kay’s experience is vast and his approach to training is well tested. Kay’s clients benefit from holistic training prescriptions including personalised exercise programming diet planning and massage therapy.

Marian is a highly experienced Personal Trainer, Sports Therapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach with a passion for athletic conditioning and the well-being of his clients. He has a background in track & field and triathlon coaching from beginners up to professional competitors. Marian’s own background is in triathlon and he is a specialists in olympic and half Ironman distances.
Marian holds a degree in sports science with a major in health, prevention and rehabilitation therapy. His academic background coupled with his coaching experience and his experience as an athlete allows underpins Marians holistic and unique approach to coaching.

Michael is a certified personal trainer and holds a 1st class degree in Strength and Conditioning Science from St Mary’s University. Michael’s experience in the sport and fitness industry is both vast and diverse. He is currently providing strength and conditioning support to one of the top performing sports universities in London. Prior, Michael was working in the top strength and conditioning facility in Kuwait where he delivered personal training sessions, group fitness classes, and assisted the physical preparation of high-level combat athletes. Additionally, he has supported the physical preparation of, rugby union, football, and track and field athletes. If Michael is not training a client, you’ll most likely find him, in the gym, playing sport, or learning more about health and fitness.
